This method of molecular testing is ideal for ICU and emergency room settings as Atila’s iAMP Sepsis Panel offers a vital combination of speed, accuracy, and comprehensiveness, enabling rapid identification of 30 sepsis-causing pathogens and 11 drug resistance gene markers directly from plasma – or whole blood.

Digital PCR

This method of molecular testing is used when absolute quantification of sepsis-related pathogens is required. Although speed is critical, this technique takes slightly longer than real-time PCR but enables absolute quantification of tested analytes.
